Week 2 Glossary
You will post 5 new words each week on this blog in this space.
1. The word must come from either your reading or writing book.
2. You can not use words that come from another class.
3. Do not use words that other students have used.

3. carp (n.) type of freshwater fish
Many of people keep carp as the pet.
4.evaluate (v.) to think carefully about something before making a judgment about its value.

5. slang (n.) words or expressions that are very informal and are not considered suitable for more formal situations.

ReplyDelete2-Dreamed up(v)-to have visions and thoughts in your sleep : to have a dream while you are sleeping. Last night I dreamed up about my girlfriend.
3-Crumbling(v)-to break (something) into small pieces. The small village got crumbled when it hit by earthquake.
4-Laundromat(n)-used for a place that has machines for washing and drying clothes, towels, sheets, etc. When I want to wash my clothes i go to the laundromat.
5-Awesome(adj)-causing feelings of fear and wonder. I feel awesome when I create a new skill in soccer.

ReplyDeleteProcess (n) a series of things that are done in order to achieve a particular result. Writing to Communicate, I am fraid getting something changed is a slow process.
Combine (v) to come together to form a single thing or group; to join two or more things or groups together to form a single one. Writing to Communicate, If you want to cook cakes, you need to combine the egg with a little flour.
Coordination (n) the act of making parts of something, groups of people,ect. work together in an efficient and organized way. Writing to Communicate, It is important to have great coordination between every students.
Commemorate (v) to remind people of an important person or event from the past with a special action or object; to exist to remind people of a person or an event from the past. Writing to Communicate, A series of movies will be shown to commemorates the 50th anniversary of the state found
